Our Team

Jon Hawk, Trial Lawyer

-Jon Hawk graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1997.

Early in his legal career, Jon worked as an attorney for insurance companies, giving him invaluable insight into how insurance companies litigate cases. 

-Jon is a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming, where he learned techniques from some of the nation's best trial lawyers. These experiences have allowed him to develop effective strategies to achieve great outcomes for our clients.  Jon has been a guest 

speaker at numerous attorney continuing education seminars.

-  Jon is a member of the American Association of Justice, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the North Macon Rotary Club. Jon and his wife are also active members at First Presbyterian Church of Macon.

A Jasper County jury awarded a mother and daughter  $1.78 million for personal injuries suffered due to the negligence of another driver. The pre-trial offer from the insurance company was $30,000. A post-trial motion for attorney fees was settled for $470,000 resulting in a total recovery of $2.5 million.

In a suit against an at-fault driver, for personal injuries suffered by a couple on their way to a medical appointment, a Gwinnett County jury awarded $1.55 million in damages to our clients. A motion for attorney fees is in the process of being filed due to the insurance company's failure to settle the case.

Our client was rear ended while driving a small passenger vehicle by a driver working for a Canadian Trucking Company. While there was almost no property damage she was seriously injured and required two surgeries.

  An $835,000 settlement against a  swimming pool contractor whose negligence resulted in the drowning of a 2-year-old child at a relative's residence.  This tragic case was  turned down by 3 lawyers before we had the privilege of representing this family.
